Altera MT 5000 polyolefin shrink tubing is suitable for use in medical applications requiring flexibility, excellent electrical insulation properties and abrasion resistance. Solvent resistance is excellent and MT 5000 can be Gamma and ETO Sterilized. Since lubricity is not as high as MT 2000, this material will provide better strain relief. The relatively low shrink temperature makes it a good choice for temperature sensitive components. Material has USP Class VI designation with no heavy metals. Color Clear / Translucent Shrink Ratio 2:1
