Commonly called seamless because of its cosmetic appearance. Our Stainless Steel 316 Hypodermic Tubing is molybdenum bearing austenitic steel containing a higher percentage of nickel and a smaller percentage of chromium compared to 304. The higher corrosion resistance of 316 Stainless vs. 304 Stainless is particularly useful when working with phosphoric and acetic acids.
